Imagine “good weather”.
Instantly, blue skies and sunshine come to mind, despite the harmful UV rays the sun causes.
Meanwhile, rain gets labelled as “bad weather” even though it usually means lower UV exposure.
So, what if we rebranded the weather?
Our campaign celebrates “bad” weather, encouraging young adults to get outside and enjoy fun, low-UV, rainy-day adventures.

We’ll also partner with news channels to praise the rain and vilify the sun during weather forecasts.

Melanoma Patients Australia will even launch The Good Weather App. The app will highlight the UV rating of the day, fun outdoor rainy-day activities as well as more information about melanoma safety.
